在加入 BEAST 以前，其實起光已經以 AJ 出過 solo 歌首作品 (單曲, 迷你專輯等…)
而且，在出道前，他原本是 JYP Entertainment 的練習生，
後來從 Cube Entertainment 出道。
我想這也是大家以為 Cube Entertainment 是 JYPE 的子公司原因之一吧？（脫離主題了）
AJ 出道前就在網上做了許多宣傳，雖然沒有變成很紅的 solo 歌手，
但打出了小小的名氣，大家都知道他很會跳舞，被命名為小 Rain，也被公認長的很可愛，
算是有名氣但人氣和買氣都還好而已。

加入 BEAST 以後，許多人才很後悔的說：［我怎麼沒發現他那～麼帥啊？！］
我也覺得有點可惜，所以今天要來介紹他的第一首 solo 曲 Dancing Shoes
這首歌也收錄在他的第一張專輯，2009年4月起光以AJ為藝名出道發行的《Frist Episode A New Hero》
這首歌有三個特別的點：
- mv 中有出現 4minute 的 HyunA，但還蠻短的時間 （她有 feature 另一首2009)
- 當時 BEAST 的耀燮是 AJ 的 Dancing Shoes 伴舞舞者 （他也有跳另外一首擦乾眼淚）
- 每次 live 的時後前面一定要來一段大 solo 舞蹈！
